



TRAU™ - The Retirement Advisor University at UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education is the first retirement planning certification program offered in cooperation with a nationally recognized institution of higher learning. TRAU grants the Certified 401(k) Professional or C(k)P™ designation which distinguishes financial professionals who have demonstrated the knowledge and ability to positively affect the retirement outcome for participants in company retirement plans.

How Do I become a “Certified 401(K) Professional?”
To attain the C(k)P takes approximately one – two years and includes on campus sessions at UCLA Executive Education, online courses, mentoring, completion of numerous tests, an extensive final exam and submission of a case study demonstrating the application of knowledge learned. The three levels of training include four areas of study: Technical Competence, Optimizing Plan Outcomes, Management & Business, and Sales & Marketing.
